Lecture Room

The Lecture Room is fully equipped with up-to-date technical facilities for teaching. Small groups use the Seminar Room, with additional rooms and a large hall available in the adjacent FM Centre when required.

Seminar Room

As well as providing space for smaller groups, the Seminar Room contains resources for research and preparation of outreach materials. It is equipped with a PC and digital projector.

Library

The Govan Stewart Memorial Library has nearly 18,000 books, most of which are available for borrowing by FMBC library card holders… more    The Library is  equipped with several computers, a laser printer and a photocopie and students also use their own laptops, making use of the wireless network.

Online Services

Students at FMBC are given a login which gives them access to a wide range of interactive services and resources which can be accessed from any internet-connected computer.

Wi-fi

A wireless network is available in the Library, Seminar Room, Lecture Room, and can also be accessed from some accommodation areas.

Student Lounge

A spacious lounge with TV, comfortable chairs and kitchen facilities. Student mailboxes are also located here.

Bookshop & Café

The adjacent FM Bookshop and Café are open Monday to Saturday.

Dining Room

As well as a place for residential students to have their meals served, the Dining Room is where the students, families and staff enjoy a tea break together every morning.
