Diploma in Biblical Exposition (online)
The Diploma in Biblical Exposition course is designed to equip Bible teachers and preachers with the necessary skills for correctly handling Scripture. Whether you are a preacher, a teacher, responsible for a Bible study group or just want to get more out of your Bible, this course will give you the tools you need.
Format
The course material, along with details of course reading, can be downloaded from a designated website and is available in PDF and MP3 format. There are written assignments to be completed and submitted for each module.
Part-time course
This course is a modified online version of the part-timeDiploma in Expository Preaching which is taught on-site at the College in one day a week over the two years of the course.
Course Structure
The course consists of three modules:
- Bible Overview
A ‘bird’s eye’ view of the Bible, highlighting the unifying ‘storyline of the Bible’, showing where and how the biblical books fit together and providing an introduction and outline of each book. - Doctrine
An in-depth study of six of the major doctrines of the Christian faith – God, Christ, the Holy Spirit, Scripture, the Church and Eschatology – providing the vital theological context for any expository ministry. - Biblical ExpositionThe biblical basis for expository preaching

Course Length
There are no deadlines for the course so that students can work at their own speed to fit in with personal circumstances and commitments.
Overall, the course is designed to take around 600 study hours, leading to 60 study credits.
Course Tutors
The course is taught by the College Principal, Rev John Brand, and other staff and external lecturers.
Course Fees
£1,000 for the entire course – this can be paid in instalments.
